Computerized management system with "Limp Home feature", incl. over-rev protection, monitors fuel injection and ignition.
1994 added an electronic cut off at 136 MPH pre 94 models used RPM to limit top speed at 155 (this last is unconfirmed by me)

automatic 4 speed with 2nd gear "manual mode" to eliminate 1st to 2nd gear gear slippage and "power mode" to raise shift points for stronger acceleration
