It may come as a small surprise to some of my friends that I consider myself neither a Democrat nor a Republican, and not even a Libertarian. In fact, there is no party with which I’m really pleased.

I am registered with the State of California as a “Decline to State” party voter. This is not because I can’t make up my mind, nor because I really prefer to remain or appear to be neutral. It’s really because I think every one of the parties has a platform that is not well-reasoned, and would eventually be of detriment to this nation if it were left in power for too long or too much.
